Let us hope that YouTube doesn't disappear in a puff of smoke...just as I am getting my series started...!! TTFN, Dai.
'We're righting a wrong,' say the artists taking on YouTube
The music industry and YouTube are set to go head-to-head this week in a crucial vote in Brussels that could force the digital giant to pay billions of dollars in fees to popular artists such as Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Katy Perry. For years the music industry has argued that YouTube exploits the lack of legal protection around music videos being viewed on its service to pay minimal amounts to artists and labels. [...]
The Byrne Brothers: Family Tree
Hi. Thanks a million for that. That's our first review and we're very happy with your comments. We have a new cd almost ready to press and should have it out next month.
A lot has happened since I last wrote. We left Ireland and moved to Orlando, did 6 months in Raglan Road, Disney Springs and are going back for another 6 months in November.
We toured the US during the summer playing at many festivals and going down a storm at Cleveland Irish Cultural Festival, Cleveland Celtic Festival and The Rocky Mountains Irish Gathering. We did a total of 8200 miles and 23 states. A brilliant adventure we will never forget.
We also had another 3 viral videos on Facebook with the biggest viewing from Ireland again in 2017 as well as 2016 with our Galway Busking video which has been watched by over 15 Million and shared over 400,000 times.
We have another tour planned in October to go across the southern states including 3 days in Rí Rá's in Las Vegas and Show in The Irish Heritage Center in San Francisco then up to New York for a few days where our fan base is growing all the time.
We have a wonderful show full of brilliant music, Irish dancing, crowd interaction and lots of fun for all the family.
We have started vlogging our journey and you can see some of our last day in Raglan on this vlog. We have lots more vlogs from our tour to go up this week and will continue to put up a vlog every week so by next summer we should have lots of people following us with a bit of luck.

Dan Walsh & Alistair Anderson: Right At Home - Live At Mount Hooley
Hi. That’s really great to have this. I’m glad you enjoyed the Dan Walsh and Alistair Anderson CD – and you have given us a very helpful quote to use.
Alistair’s other newer project, his band Northlands has a CD too. It came out in early 2017.
Best wishes – and thank you again. Chris Pentney
Divertimento Folk: Folk & Roll
Hi. We do really appreciate your review about our third LP. Thank you so much for that. We have grown up playing some of the Spanish traditional instruments (such as dulzaina, bagpipe, hurdy gurdy ) while jamming with Metálica AND Dire Straits’ albums 😂
All the best
